A Family Born Innovation
Mango News Kids is a UAE start-up with Moroccan and British roots.
It began when siblings Farooq (9) and Jouri (8) Omar were asked to read the news. They found plenty of video clips and adult articles, but nothing regular, fun, and safe for kids.
Zahira El Jerrari is their mum and the co-founder who runs the show behind the scenes. She is a social media creator who loves sharing content about food, travel, and lifestyle, with a special focus on Moroccan food and culture. Through her posts, she celebrates the flavours, traditions, and beauty of Morocco.
With help from AI and their parents, they started turning grown-up news into child friendly stories they could understand.
That spark grew into Mango News Kids, where news comes with stories, quizzes, and worksheets.
And the best part? It's completely free.
